Hernández & Cía. Abogados advised Andino Investment Holding (“Andino”) in the acquisition of the shares that DP World Group (through its subsidiaries, DP World Logistics S.R.L. and DP World Perú S.R.L.), held in Cosmos Agencia Marítima S.A.C (“Cosmos”), for a confidential amount. By virtue of the transaction, Andino acquired the 100% of Cosmos´ capital stock, becoming in its sole shareholder.
As part of the background of the transaction, Andino had previously sold, in 2018, its shares in Cosmos to DP World.
Cosmos is a shipping and cargo agency with almost 50 years of operations in the maritime, fluvial, port and logistics sector. DP World Group is a global logistics provider with operation in over 60 countries around the world since 1972; on the other side, Andino is a Peruvian company with 49 years of experience, listed on the Lima Stock Exchange, dedicated to investing in and/or creating companies dedicated to logistics and infrastructure. With Cosmos’ acquisition, Andino strengthens its leaderships in the logistics sector.
