Real Estate

The significant growth of the real estate sector in Peru is a powerful engine for investment and development, but it demands the permanent updating and modification of legal regulations. Therefore, we need to know each of our client’s business models and understand what they need at the right time.

At Hernández & Cía. we represent essential national real estate developers, foreign investors, and investment funds in initiatives of diverse nature: office buildings, hotels and resorts, residential and tourist projects, shopping centers, and industrial developments.

We offer advice on studies of individual and massive titles, acquisition of patches of land, and large rural areas for large-scale agro-industrial, mining, telecommunications, or energy projects. This includes permits and authorizations, negotiation and acquisition of lands owned by peasant communities, negotiation and acquisition of rights over lands owned by the State, and property sanitation at the municipal, regulatory, general, judicial, and registry level.

In addition, we accompany our clients in the design of the tax structure adjusted to each project and the formation of associations or consortia to develop it; regulation, urban planning, and environmental issues; preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts and agreements, hotel operation, and management agreements; construction, architecture and project management contracts; structuring and constitution of trusts, financing of projects and, in general, legal support until their entire commercialization.
