Commitment to the Community

We develop both, our internal and external activities following our practice’s values ​​and ethical principles. We do so with the least possible socio-environmental impact and in the spirit of strengthening the commitment of our lawyers and collaborators with the community in general.

We provide pro bono counseling for people and institutions that may require legal services. Each pro bono case is evaluated and selected by an internal committee which will  also oversee that the number of pro bono hours set for each of our lawyers is met.

It has also organized talks on cyberbullying, unconscious biases in selecting candidates, the importance of diversity and inclusion of the LGBTIQ + community, the empowerment of women, the legislation applicable to acts of sexual harassment, among other measure that aim to make Hernández & Cía. a wholesome equal and respectful working environment.

We have established an Intervention Committee against Sexual Harassment in order to represent the firm’s workers and professional staff . This Committe will be in charge of investigating any fact that may constitute an act of sexual harassment while ensuring confidentiality, impartiality, speed, and efficiency in the process.
