Hernández & Cía. announces the incorporation of Pamela Arce as a new partner of the firm. Pamela, a recognized expert in insolvency law and corporate restructuring, will lead the Restructuring and Insolvency practice area and consultancy in aeronautical matters.
With more than 20 years of experience in insolvency law and corporate restructuring and having participated in several important insolvency proceedings, private refinancing transactions, purchase and sale of assets of companies in insolvency, as well as in insolvency and corporate liquidations of special relevance, Pamela joins the firm, which will now have 26 partners and more than 100 lawyers.
Pamela has advised debtors and creditors of different industries in negotiations aimed at avoiding insolvency situations, as well as in all stages of bankruptcy proceedings before the Bankruptcy Proceedings Commission of INDECOPI. Her work also includes the planning and preparation of restructuring plans, private refinancing agreements, challenges to creditors’ meeting agreements and advising on the liquidation of companies under the General Corporate Act.
Previously, she acted as counsel at De Bracamonte, Haaker & Castellares; Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at Sky Airline Peru and senior associate at Rebaza, Alcazar & De las Casas for more than 11 years. She was also an international associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton NY.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Berkeley and a Certificate of Specialization in Business from the same university. Lawyer by Universidad de Lima (magna cum laude).
