The publication Latin Finance has granted the award “𝗦𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗲𝗮𝗿” in the LatinFinance Deals of the Year Awards 2023, for the advice provided to our client, the Republic of Peru.
These awards highlight emblematic transactions of the year in Latin America and the Caribbean, recognizing our excellence and continued commitment as a firm.
This transaction was pioneering, as it was the first sustainable issuance by the Republic of Peru and aimed at solarizing part of its foreign currency debt. The local currency sovereign bond issue amounted to S/9,185 million, through which we swapped certain existing sovereign bonds in soles and repurchased certain series of sovereign bonds in dollars as part of the Republic of Peru’s debt.
